Jerry exceed expectations throughout our project. He balanced his feedback and expectation setting with our GC and interior designer maintaining high morale. His balanced approach and commitment to our shared vision was important to navigate the difficulty of a large project during the pandemic. Most importantly, Jerry’s vision incorporated his perspective with ours. As a result, the finished product respected the history of our house, (built in 1890) while adding enough of our own style and preferences to make it feel like our home. Jerry is a true artist who takes great pride in his work. He helped us with a small addition of a master bath and closet and brought really nice design options, extending beyond our addition to add character to our home. I first worked with Jerry in 2006 to renovate our 1890 Victorian from the studs up. I was impressed by his technical knowledge (his drawings leave nothing for contractor interpretation) but mostly by his ability to listen and then produce stunning architectural design. A transitional open plan kitchen in a Victorian? No problem. I have since had Jerry draw up plans to add a garage to our home, to renovate a 3 bed investment property, and to add a first floor bedroom to my parents’ home. On additions, his designs are sympathetic to what’s already there—I often hear “you’d never know.” I have recommended Jerry to many friends, and all speak highly of his work. Can’t recommend more highly.

We hired Jerry Bruno to design a full redevelopment of the interior and exterior of our house. We chose Jerry for his attention to details, his passion for design and his vision. We knew we had the right architect during our first meeting with Jerry Bruno. Almost immediately, Jerry understood our vision for a substantial renovation and addition to our 60-year old Cape Cod style home. We hired Jerry to draw up some plans for a bathrooom addition to our Queen Anne Victorian. He came up with some great ideas and provided us with the plans on schedule as promised. Jerry redesigned our entire home while thoughtfully taking into account all of our concerns and wishes. Once the designs were finalized, Jerry continued to guide us through the entire remodeling process. He made sure we were well prepared for our meeting with the zoning board to have multiple variances approved. He provided a list of contractors to interview, and he continued to visit the house throughout the entire remodel to track progress and answer any questions. Jerry’s attention to detail in his drawings ensured that the project was executed per the plan with minimal deviation. We are extremely pleased with our forever home and would gladly work with him again.
