External Transformation
Essex Fells, NJ

The original house was built in the 1960’s across from the pond at Grover Cleveland Park in Essex Fells designed by the famous landscape architect Frederick Law Olmstead, Jr.

The house main entry was moved from its position of the side of the house to the front to overlook the pond.  The open front porch was designed in the craftsman style to be contextual to the range of traditional architecture vocabularies that exist around the pond and neighborhood from the early 20th century.
